Yet Another 5 Reasons Why Digg Sucks

Digg
It' all about relevance!

1. Digg's homepage is controlled by 20*, probably virgin, 16-year old nerds.

2. When your page hits Digg's front page, thousands of others 16-year old virgin nerds will come, devastate your bandwidth and go. And you don't get a dime from this. Because…

3. Digg's members don't click anything, don't buy anything from affiliate links, period.

4. Digg's front page is a collection of broken links.

5. While Digg's front page displays only what the 20's* think is good, upcoming stories are a mix of spam links and boring, never-ending stories from The Washington Post and The New York Times. I know, nobody reads that, neither Who submitted them.

  1. Great points and I agree whole heartedly. We are always dishing dig on the podcast for these and many more reasons!

  2. Very good points. You do get money for page impressions, but it's likely that 3/4 of your traffic has adblock on anyways.
